Electric Fencing & Perimeter Fencing
Electric fencing systems can be installed new or retrofitted to fencing and gates to enhance the security of the existing infrastructure.These systems can either be installed along the top of the fence or full height, as an integral part of the fence.
As well as being an effective deterrent, electric fences give a short, sharp, painful but safe electric shock to any intruders who touch it.
Electric fencing systems are fully monitored so that any attempts at cutting, loading, short-circuiting or tampering are detected and an alarm is generated. Systems can also be integrated with CCTV networks so that operators can see the area in which the intrusion attempt has been detected. For high-security premises, various perimeter intruder detection systems (PIDS) are available that use diverse sensing technologies to provide fully automated real-time security monitoring, which detects if an intruder is attempting to climb, cut or force open a gap in a fence.
These systems are highly reliable, with a very low rate of false alarms, and require virtually no maintenance.
Surveillance Solutions

Electronic Intruder Detection
Our Intruder Detection Solutions are designed to detect unauthorized entry into a facility. Security alarms are used for protection against burglary and property damage, as well as personal protection against intruders. We install internal and external systems for intruder detection with direct communication to a centralized control room, personal monitoring via smart phone or via SMS.
This solution includes Alternate power options and are available for rural and farming applications. In addition, our solutions seamlessly integrate into other systems such as CCTV and/or access control.
OUR SECURITY ALARM SYSTEMS INCLUDE THREE LEVELS OF SECURITY.
LEVEL 1
Motion sensors, outdoor passive infrared devices, active infrared devices such as beams and inputs from other systems for example, electric fences or invisible radar or loop inductive detection.
LEVEL 2
Sensors and door contacts in and around buildings which when armed, can trigger an alarm to the monitoring control Center which sends an SMS or push notification to various devices, locally triggering audible sirens, flasher lights and floodlights if necessary.
LEVEL 3
This includes equipping a person with an easy-to-remember duress code, which sends a silent alarm signal to the relevant Center while silencing the active alarm at the premises.

Our systems infrastructure has built-in redundancy and high-speed connections to multiple South African and global networks. The servers are hosted in a state-of-the-art data facility with the latest security systems, climate control, power generators, and battery back-up units.
Data back-ups are performed regularly and stored off site in secure locations. In addition, we maintain our own comprehensive data back-up procedure (including off site storage). All our products are developed on industry standard platforms utilizing Microsoft technology and dedicated web server packages. Hex Alternate Power Solutions use tested solutions for small home to business application. Various solutions are available form UPS systems to Inverter systems to solar systems with or without battery backup. We engage with our clients, giving best advice to make the right decision on product and size of system taking the confusion out of the equation. We provide alternate power systems as part of the holistic approach to security as most systems need to have a stable power supply to function correctly.
